Flash Firmware
NMMiner ships as a single browser-flashable image. No esptool or idf.py required.
Browser flashing (recommended)
- Open flash.nmminer.com in Chrome or Edge. Firefox / Safari do not implement WebSerial.
- Plug your board in via USB.
- Pick your board from the list. The tool will fetch the matching firmware from the official GitHub release.
- Click Install, choose the serial port, and wait for "Flash complete".
- The tool will print a licence string at the end — copy it. You will need it once on the activation page.

If your board does not auto-enter download mode, hold BOOT while pressing RESET, then release.
When to re-flash
| Situation | Action |
|---|---|
| Plain firmware update | Re-run the flash tool; pick the latest version. You do not need to re-activate. |
| Lost licence | Re-run the flash tool — it will issue a new licence. |
| Switching board model | Flash with the new boards profile and re-activate. |
